An Ode to One of the Best
With joyful gladness, I write
there is no other like David Rudder
He writes and rhymes with the quickness of time
each day I look forward to new words to read
his clever wit and poetic sharpness never fail to feed
A daily appetite of tributes and inspiration, sometimes motivation
and you know what I like best
its wondering what’s next
I am in awe of his speed and agility
his wordsmith magnificence and dexterity
He is like a magician that does not need to explain
but is sure to leave you info-tained and wondering
how is it he can so quickly manifest
not one or two but maybe three or four poems a day to digest
I proffer my hat to the King of poem and rhyme
and say thank you for making our Medium experience
the best of all time
Just saying, I have seen his heart’s generosity with several dedications and tributes to other writers and people in his life.
So, I thought, why not acknowledge this and say thank you, David Rudder. 😊
