Ashley, please know you are not alone in how you feel and in the words you express about writing and writing on this platform. For me and I imagine for many writers it is a shared sentiment. My biggest learning on this platform for the reasons you shared has been to constantly remind myself to be aware and shift perspective.

Keep doing what you love but most importantly do what's write for you. It may or may not pay the bills but for those moments of alignment and peace that's where real freedom and wealth lies.
