Consequences
When words ripple how far should we choose to own them?
If my words come from me to you
shape your next thoughts
and what you may do
then is it a must I live with the consequences too!
What’s this you may ask?
Well, an exploration of the impact of our words, and how far they may reach in the form of a twittle.
A form I recently came to learn courtesy of my amazing writer friend Orla.K. Her cleverly penned poem is below which includes references to work by Carolyn Hastings who I believed launched the twittle train 🚂.
A twittle is a 100-letter, 4-line verse with the following constraints.
It must be exactly 100 alphabetic letters. Numbers, punctuation, symbols, and spaces do not contribute to the count.
Fancy having fun and giving it a go? I know I did!
A big thank you to Orla.K and Carolyn Hastings for introducing the fun!
