Dear …, I wasn’t sure if I should publish, but then how else could I say…
This may be one of many, but I could not resist…
Well, well I have been on Medium a little over 18 months, and I must say it has been one of the best decisions I have made in a long time.
It kinda reminds me of my primary school playground days, where you were free to explore and have fun. There is so much to choose from, one day you could be an indomitable superhero the next a racing car or juggernaut smashing into anything in your way.
Medium for me has been similar in many ways, amazing, inspiring, challenging, confusing and tiring (MPP — say no more). But always lots of exciting new stories to read and explore. My time on Medium has taken many unexpected journeys, but most of all, been about growth and transformation.
Along the way, I have hit personal milestones, experienced and felt a spectrum of ideas, thoughts and feelings. From entertainment to laughter, to tears and deep thought. I have felt it all, including clap shame anxiety and guilt to plain wonder and amazement.
It truly has been a marvellous roller coaster where I keep coming back for more. Why? Well, because of the community and friendship, because of the content.
