Book and film reviews are not usually my thing, but the other day, I watched the movie Good Luck to You, Leo Grande on Netflix and was pleasantly surprised.

Released in 2022, I missed the promotion and hype surrounding its launch and was utterly unaware of its significance.

I am not a movie buff or film critic, but a day after watching the film, I thought about its universal themes and realized I had to write about them.

I must warn you this review contains several spoilers, so look away if you plan to watch the film and don't want to be disappointed.

Film Premise

Written by actress and comedian Katy Brand, the film Good Luck to You, Leo Grande is about Nancy Stokes, a widow and retired Religious Education (RE) school teacher who searches for excitement and sexual pleasure.
