Good summary and collection of the benefits. I like that the answer depends on an understanding of each.

I was thinking about this the other day having previously gone through a period where I built a routine to cold shower each morning-- it was as much about mental toughness than anything else.

In recently thinking about this I came to the conclusion that depending on where you are in the world, people have different practices, hot saunas or cold showers/baths and both rightfully claim benefits. Your article proves why both can be beneficial.
