Interesting article and one I think I need to read again. My first thoughts are in agreement with your closing statement that meaning comes from personal choice and how we choose to make sense of what the external presents us and that is uncertainty.

I agree and like your diagram depicting where we may choose to sit on the internal continuum. I find it fascinating that can evolve and change depending on whether we allow external or internal realities to shape us.

Maybe an approach is to look at what we know to be universally constant and that is change or rather as we know impermanence. Death and the time (a human construct) we have is what gives life meaning.
