So true Annelise, how this can be applied to many if not all aspects of life. Knowingly doing the wrong thing never ends well.
It reminds me of customers I used to work with who never had the time to write a test plan and test. But somehow when things inevitably went wrong they would find the time. It used to frustrate me but I soon learnt, once you have made your recommendations. If they choose to not take your advice they will eventually find out the hard way.
