Thank you for sharing Tovah, Angela Davis has always been a women I have admired.

Your story reminded me of watching one of her lectures on YouTube a while back in which she shared part of her story.

I remember her explaining from an early age she was inquisitive and how she was inpsired by her mum who answered one of her questions about segregation with words along the lines of. This is the way it is, but id doesn't have to be or remain that way.

So your story of modeling behaviours particularly resonates and equally reminds me of the fact that children so often learn more from what is modelled than what is said.
