This is a wonderful lesson and reminder Diana, and one that has taken me time to realise that it is an act of love to recognise and give others the freedom to be who they are.

In response to your question, as a parent, this is a dance that is in progress. From my perspective, what comes to mind is less time gaming, but that is based on my judgement and value of time. I have come to learn, it is far better to trust and let go and at best model the behaviour rather than throw in reminders.
