Wholly agree this is important and it does raise an interesting dynamic whereby each interaction and use of technology always comes with a trade-off and as you say.

While you may be able to make attempts to control your own privacy, how do you do so in the company and presence of others.

Is it better to know the potential extent of privacy intrusions and will we ever know who is behind it or are we better with a level of ignorance, I wonder.
