Why Is It We Are Comfortable in the Agony of Ignorance and We Abandon Ourselves

When deep down we know the truth

At the centre of who we are
a heart beats with love.
Caged under skin and bone, we feel it thump
each second of our existence to remind us,
that we are born of the stars and oceans.

In us is an effortless abundance of who we are.
We only have to dare believe beyond the limits of our understanding
to eventually see, what the heart knows.
