With a Little Hard Work and Determination Dreams Can Come True
I finally did it
Of all days to remember, it was on my mum's birthday.
It was delayed by one month because of pandemic restrictions. My dream of performing in front of a live audience finally materialised last Saturday.
Although the wait was a month, it felt much longer owing to the discomfort I felt in announcing to the world back in December this is what I was going to do. I hated the feeling of not following through because I deliberately announced my intentions to make myself accountable.
In making my announcement, the support and well wishes I received was tremendous and beyond what I expected. It makes me proud and humbled to be part of a community of beautiful people.
